Westwood College was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. It has offer Seventeen campuses in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, and Texas offer degree and diploma programs to prepare students for careers in the following fields: Business, Design, Computer & Information Technology, Industrial Services, and Healthcare. Westwood College works closely with employers and our Program Advisory Committees to ensure that every Westwood program focuses on industry-relevant skills that graduates need to compete in today’s workplace. And that’s why hands-on experience is a critical part of Westwood’s curriculum.Westwood College was known as Denver Institute of Technology, offering diploma and degree programs in a variety of technical fields. It has seventeen campuses: four in the Southern California area; two in Denver, Colorado; two in Atlanta, Georgia; four in the Chicago area; two in the Arlington/Annadale, Virginia area; two in the Dallas/Fort Worth area; and one in Houston, Texas; and its online campus Westwood Online. Westwood Online Through Westwood College - Denver North Campus, we now offer fully online degrees at Westwood College Online. Students who choose not to attend classes at one of Westwood's traditional campuses can, instead, select to take one of Westwood's already established degree programs through this virtual campus (not all programs are available online or in all states). Redstone College and Redstone Institute Alta Colleges, Inc. also operates three Redstone campuses in Los Angeles, Denver, and Houston offer hands-on training for rewarding careers in aviation maintenance. Programs include Airframe & Powerplant (offered at all three campuses), Advanced Electronics Technology - Avionics (offered in Denver only), and HVAC/R (offered in Denver only). Westwood College offer loans, grants, scholarships, or even employer reimbursement programs to their students. Westwood also offers specialized Student Success Workshops to help you achieve your career goals. You want a career but how can you fit school into the mix? The answer is Westwood College Online. Working around your current schedule and commitments, you can start and finish an associate degree in less then 17 months or a bachelor's degree in less than three years and be on your way to that new career. Student Services: From the moment you enroll at most of our Westwood campuses, our Student Services staff is standing by to offer help and assistance. Their invaluable support will continue through graduation, in the areas of scheduling, housing, academics and financial concerns, amongst others. Student services also revolves around the campus library & bookstore and advising & tutoring.
